About the Journal

The Nigerian Journal of Orthopaedics and Trauma (NJOT) is a peer-reviewed, open-access, online-only journal published by the Nigeria Orthopaedic Association. The journal provides immediate open access to its content in line with the principles of the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ). NJOT operates a continuous publication model, with articles published online immediately after acceptance and final production. For indexing and archival purposes, articles are organised into two bi-annual issues: January–June and July–December. Authors are permitted to self-archive the final accepted version of their articles in any OAI-compliant institutional or subject-based repository, in accordance with the journal’s open-access policy.
